Our cake will look like this! The cloth-like parts are actually hand-piped chocolate. Not only is it in our colors, but it mimics our tablecloths. We’re thinking of asking the bakers to make some cake “books” to go under the cake, just like our centerpieces.

Can you imagine this cake with red velvet flavor? Amazing.

Wedding cake appointment

Next Tuesday (August 5) we’ll be meeting with our bakers to do the cake tasting and sign our contract. The flavors we’ll be trying are: lemon with buttercream filling, red velvet with white chocolate ganache & filling & banana with dulce de leche filling. So tasty!

Photographer: Booked!

We met our photographer on a wedding expo we attended in June; we booked him shortly after that. He’s super expensive but we don’t want to compromise on our pictures! He’s so talented. He can be kind of douchey but his pictures are amazing!

I said yes to the dress this past Saturday, July 26! This lace & tulle blush beauty’s called Bice & it’s from the Pronovias 2015 pre-collection. I’m having the straps altered so they’re off the shoulder, for a more romantic look.

I still haven’t found pictures of real brides wearing it online since it’s fairly new.

Venue + date: booked!

3 days ago, we finally made our deposit to secure the venue we wanted on the date we wanted. Our Halloween wedding is officially happening!
